Meta Ten

Today is the 10th anniversary of the day we met!

Tens are a big deal to us: we married on 10/10/10, and do our best to celebrate the 10th of every month - or at least acknowledge it. Today is the first of our milestone 10s. No fanfare, but a good day to reflect on everything we've experienced during the past decade; who we've been, who we've become, and the ways we want to continue building a life together.

I've decided to try posting more regularly again. It's been a joyful experience to review our previous attempts at daily projects, wherein we've captured memories and photos of our most precious moments.

As it turns out, the most precious of these moments are not the ones I've decorated with fanfare; they're the simple times when I've been present in my daily life. Daily projects - blogging or taking photos - remind me to pay attention to these moments, giving me both a reason and a place to collect my memories.

So, here's to 10 years, and many more! And here's to new beginnings.
