Mama yogi
I try not to make a big deal out of it, because I'm afraid to jinx it: with only one or two exceptions, I've managed to do yoga every day of 2017.
That's actually a big deal for me; someone who doesn't feel that she can stick to anything for the long haul. I can stick to things, as long as I make them sustainable.
I'd like to do more and better practices. 20-40 minutes per day, with enough physical activity to make a real difference in my physique and my mental state. But that's not always part of my reality as a busy working mom of two, so I take what I can get.
Today, I did 15 minutes partner yoga with my little girl. A few weeks ago, I did the same while on on a picnic in the park (pictured).
Sometimes, you make compromises in order to hold your commitments. I'm proud of myself for holding my commitment to myself of a daily yoga practice, in any form that's appropriate for the day.
