I’m proud of myself. Mom and Dad warned me it would be a lot. They said “It’s going to be hard, you’re going to have to read books and take tests and have classroom sessions.” But I did it. I was amazed with myself. I stuck it through until the end.

I did my e-learning, did a test both online and in the shop, I did a confined water dive, and finally, my four certifying open water dives.

I loved it. The creatures, the coral, all of it. I felt weightless. I felt like I was flying. It was probably one of the best experiences of my entire life.

I had an amazing time in Cozumel, an amazing time diving, and I enjoyed every second of the 2024 Mexico trip. I would repeat the same trip a million times if I could.
