Wicked

Oscar had sampler lessons today! I had a really nice day today, too. We played a game I‘ve never played before in gym today- Gaga ball. Despite its weird name, it was a really fun game. I participated, and actually had a lot of fun.

The rules are confusing, but you adjust to them quickly. Your goal is to avoid being hit, knee and under. If they hit higher, doesn’t count. You bend over and slap the ball with your hand, aiming to get everyone out. The last person standing is the winner. Gaga ball is played in a ring, and Mr. Wallace had some plastic gates and formed a ring. One of the ways to get yourself out was not only being hit, but if you tried to slap the ball away from you and kicked it out of the ring, the last person to touch it would be out.

Anyways, besides that, I had many highlights today. Mom met me at the bus stop, and honestly, that just made my day. She never really does that and it feels really really special when she does. I like walking and talking with her. Then, followed by her meeting me up there, we had a good conversation. We talked for a while and it was a fun bonding moment.

Oscar had his sampler lessons and I opted to go. I really wanted to go with Mom, because I was having a nice moment with her and wanted more of that. I spent the whole time trying out the Wicked songs in that book on a sample piano. Mom bought it for me, and I came home with it.

If that’s not too many highlights already, I had a really yummy dinner of pork chops, mashed potatoes and salad. I can’t believe I didn’t like mashed potatoes before. The ones dad made tonight were SO tasty. Then we talked about our highlights. I felt really connected with my family today.
