Another minute of sun
After the solstice, we get another minute of light each day, and it feels wonderful.
I love this time of year, when the hectic holidays have passed, everyone's still feeling optimistic about keeping their New Year's resolutions, and there's finally time to slow down, be present, and enjoy the rest of the winter.
By now, the cold temperatures don't phase me. This week, we've had a lot of days under 10°. Every time I go outside, I thank myself for investing in a quality coat and boots, which make it tolerable.
Thus, I have time to notice and enjoy the clear blue sky that comes with that cold weather, and the golden light that comes with noticeably longer days.
