We try to acknowledge every 10
We thought it would be cute and memorable to get married on 10/10/10. As often as practical, we try to acknowledge the 10th of each month with some small token - an extra dessert, a steak dinner, or a night out.
Tonight, on the 1st 10 of our 15th year, we opted for a night out to Chilango. We took a shortcut across the frozen surface of Bde Maka Ska, and made our way home by way of Barbette in Uptown, where we enjoyed cocktails and a flourless torte.
Meanwhile, our kids spent the evening at home, watching Mary Poppins with Nana.
A decadent way to celebrate our time together, and hopefully the first of many this year.
